Prayer

Prayer is at the centre of our mission. Prayer is our conversation with God. He is the God who hears our cries. There are many ways one can pray for the unborn. Please see our Pro-life Rosary section (with meditations provided by Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests for Life in the USA).

Masses for the Unborn

The most beautiful sacrament on earth is the Holy Mass. The most beautiful gift on earth is the gift of life. The day we are born is the most precious gift God bestows on us, and all of heaven rejoices. Some of our pre-born brothers and sisters sadly do not get the chance to live. We need to pray for their protection in the womb. We need to pray for healing and compassion for their mothers and fathers of these children. They need our love. Please give a thought to having a Mass said on your birthday, or another special anniversary or indeed anytime throughout the year, for the protection of the unborn.

Fasting

A number of people have already committed themselves to fasting for the intentions of preserving the sanctity of life and the protection of the unborn, leading to conversion of hearts and minds. This commitment entails an individual fasting on a specific day of the week, approximately eight times a year or so. This means that one person is fasting for each day of the year. Sidewalk Counsellor

We are currently looking for people to come forward to become sidewalk counsellors. The role of the sidewalk counsellor is vital to the plans of the Helpers of God's Precious Infants. The sidewalk counsellor will be the person who approaches people at the North East vigils. Each person will travel to London to complete the required intensive training programme.

Deanery Leaders
We hope to have a Deanery Leader for each deanery in the diocese. The role of the Deanery Leader will be to liaise between the parishes in their deanery and the Helpers of God's Precious Infants Team. The Deanery Leader will be directly responsible for getting the information to and from the deanery and encouraging a commitment to pro-life witness in their area.

Parish Representatives

The Parish Representative's role is to work alongside the deanery leader in encouraging a commitment to pro-life witnessing, organising Masses for the intentions of the sanctity of life and with the help of the Helpers of God's Precious Infants Team, implement pro-life initiatives in their local area.
