To mark the 40 year anniversary of the 1967 Abortion Act and to remember all of the casualties of the last forty years, the unborn children and the wounded mothers and fathers, a total of 12 hours Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament took place at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Worswick Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 8am and 8pm.
A Silent Witness also took place on the Tyne Bridge between 11am and 1pm organised by various pro-life groups in the North East region.
Thank you to everyone who took part in both events. It really was a grace-filled day.
